Merry Christmas!!!

I haven't said anything since I started my job. I mostly blame this on the fact that my time to do this has lessened greatly, AND after working on a computer all day, my desire to come home and get on the computer is not very strong.

The job is really good! The first day was really difficult, and I came home with the worst headache ever. It really is a completely different language that you have to learn, and you have to learn it fast! It's definitely gotten better, but I still don't understand everything, and I still ask a lot of questions. But I'm told that's normal. In fact, I see secretaries who have been there for YEARS who still ask questions. Even the attorneys ask questions. Something new always pops up, and we all learn something new everyday. I'm loving the brain stimulation I'm getting. I haven't been to school in a couple of years, and it feels like I'm back again. Except I don't have dreaded homework. It's the best!

We have found a new place to live and will be moving a week from today. I still have no idea when I'm going to pack, but I'm SUPER excited. We are renting out the top floor of a house. the basement is a completely separate apartment with a separate entrance, so basically 2 different families can live there. Upstairs we have 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, a lovely kitchen (with a DISHWASHER!) and family room area complete with tile and laminate wood floors and a FIREPLACE!!! The basement also has 3 bedrooms, one bath, kitchen, large family space, fridge, dishwasher, counter space, and even hookups for a washer and dryer. There are also hookups for a washer and dryer upstairs in the garage. The house has a large deck, large backyard with a corner space for a garden. We are really excited for this opportunity to have a place that will finally feel like home. The basement has not been rented out to anyone yet, so if you are looking for a place to live, let me know. I'll get you in contact with the landowners.

The best thing about this whole move is that it will be RIGHT before Christmas, so I get to have my first Christmas alone with my husband! AND I get to set up a Christmas tree! I can't wait to start decorating and making it MY place.

We really feel so blessed. We've found a place to live, and I have a job that provides enough money for us to pay our bills and have insurance. I'm so grateful for everything that I have.

Another happy note - Zac was offered an internship with the Church! He will finish spring semester, and then start the internship for the summer (an internship that pays) and as soon as that ends, he'll go back to school for his last semester. If the internship goes well, and they like him, they will be hiring more people at the beginning of 2012, which is right after his last semester ends. SO... if things go well, Zac could possibly have a job with the church after he finishes school. A GREAT job, with WONDERFUL benefits. I don't know about you, but that sounds absolutely perfect to me. We'll just cross our fingers and pray that things work out.

So overall.... Life is amazing. I'm married to a wonderful mad who treats me like Gold, have a good job that I enjoy, found a beautiful place to live, and good prospects for the future.

I am SO Blessed!
