Yay

Park City was fantastic! It was super nice to get away for the weekend and just enjoy family and each other. Every year for UEA weekend, my family does what we call "Book of Mormon Retreat". We go somewhere (most likely Park City) and read the Book of Mormon. We usually read a couple of hours a day before the trip, and then that weekend we read 3 hours in the morning, play all day, and 2 hours at night. My parents have it all worked out so that we actually read the entire Book of Mormon in a whole week. It's great!

Our favorite place to stay is the Silver King Hotel, which is within walking distance of the Alpine Slide and Coaster. Each time we go, we take an afternoon to go down the slide and coaster. This year we decided that we just wanted to do the coaster because it's just so much fun! Just like the slide, you can control your speed and the brakes, but you're in a seat that's actually attached to the rail. So there are absolutely no worries about crashing. You can go as fast as you want to, and it's a BLAST!

You get to sit in your seat, and get pulled up the mountain. And the scenery this time of year is absolutely GORGEOUS! Yellow and red leaves everywhere. Although the ride is $11 a ride (ouch), I consider it worth it for once a year. I always forget how fun it is until I ride it again. SO fun.

It was especially fun this year having my wonderful husband with me. We were able to snap a picture of us, but the camera died as soon as we did, so I don't even know if it's any good. If it is, I might post it. But if you know me... I'm not the best a posting things like that.

Update on the interview:
I was called today and have the 2nd interview scheduled for tomorrow at 10 a.m. SWEET!
Some of you were asking what it's for. It's a secretarial job for a Patent Law firm in Sandy. If I get the job, it will help us immensely in the financial department. If I don't get it, then it just wasn't meant to be, and we'll keep looking for something else.

Also, I went shopping with my mom today for a new pair of jeans because my only good pair had a hole in it that just wasn't in a modest spot. (My body type makes it so my thighs are constantly touching. Yep.... I hate it. Oh well....)
Anyway.... We went to JC Penny's and found a $36 pair of jeans that was 50% off. ($18) THEN, I found a shirt and skirt that were $2.97 each!!! YAHOO! And then I needed a new white shirt for work since one of the other ones I had got a nasty stain. Gotta love the white shirts that stain so easily. So we found a $30 shirt that was also 50% off ($15). So in all, I got a pair of jeans, two shirts and a skirt All for less than a regular pair of jeans. FANTASTIC!
Go the JC Penny. There are cute things on sale.

Have a fantastic day!!!
Ash
