Ow...

I love shoes. I love trying them on, and love shoe shopping a lot more than clothes shopping. Probably because my feet don't have curves where they aren't supposed to be. However, I have a really hard time justifying spending a lot of money on a pair of shoes. So I shop here:

Meaning... good foot support is basically nil. And although the shoes from more expensive stores are better for my feet, and will probably last longer, I still have a hard time.

I'm weird.

But it's ok! Because I know I'm not the only one who does this.

Anyway... my shoes are fine for normal wear and such, but when it comes to standing up the whole time I'm at work at Deseret Book, AFTER having worked at the high school.... Bad news! It got bad enough that I would come home from work, sit down, and dread having to stand back up again. I would almost cry.

So we got some in-soles for my shoes and it did wonders!

That was about 6 months ago.

I think they died.

I'm in pain.

It's annoying.

But it's good timing because tomorrow is my last day working the two jobs, and Saturday is my last day working at my store for Deseret Book.

Now I'm going to contemplate soaking my feet. Or convince my husband to massage them.

See if you can convince me to but better shoes. (perhaps my higher income soon will help.)

Love to all!
Ashley

I am a Payless girl myself. However, on occasion I find more hearty shoes at clerance prices. That is happy!
Here is to your new job that will help give your feet a break :)

You are talking to the WRONG girl if you want to be convinced to buy more expensive shoes... This is the girl who has white sandals that are falling apart so badly I wonder how they stay on my feet and there are rocks stuck in the bottoms so they click whenever I walk. But they are my MOST COMFORTABLE Shoes! :-)
