Donut Falls

A group from my singles ward hiked Donut Falls at the end of July. The scenery was BEAUTIFUL! So I couldn't help but snap a few pictures. It was fun.

I'm actually standing in the middle of the river/falls while I took this picture.

I love flowers!

The pile of logs I had to walk across to get to the other side... kind of scary. I love the rushing water under it though.

The falls from the left side. Again... the water is awesome.

This is my favorite of all of them. It's a little lower down the mountain. You pass this before you get to the falls.

Something That Was New

After the ward Campout, I was SO done with my hair. It was long, and just hard to work with. I wanted something new. So I got a hair cut. Nothing too drastic, but enough to make me feel better.

BEFORE:

My hair is in a braid, so you can't really see how long and annoying it was, but if you use your imagination, you'll get the picture.

This is all my chopped hair, piled up on the floor. That's a lot of hair.....

AFTER:

I liked it! And I still do. It's grown out a little. Might be time for a trim soon.

Ward Campout

In July my Singles Ward went to Rockport Reservoir. There was a really good turnout, and we had a lot of fun. Some of us got more sun than we'd have liked, but it was a blast!

The First day I was sittin on the beach and couldn't help taking this picture. I had painted my toenails red in celebration of the summer. I thought it was fun.

This is me with my good friend, Erin, sitting on the beach waiting for a boat to go tubing. :)

Crawdads..... Gross!
Skipping Rocks!!!!

There's a story behing this picture. A friend of mine was taking it, and someone else was throwing a frisbee. Well.... the frisbee hit the camera, and the camera fell and hit the ground. Needless to say, the camera lense was crooked and wouldn't close. I was sick because I got my camera for christmas. I carefully put the camera back in the case, and took it home in hopes that I could somehow get it fixed. Luckily, my dad is Mr. Incredible and he was able to fix it. We had no idea this picture had actually been taken. So, this is milliseconds before my camera almost died, and I had a heart attack.

"Love to See the Temple"

Colton turned 12 in June. He's getting so old! Before I know it, he'll be taller than me. Although that's not the biggest accomplishment. :)

Now that Colton is 12, he can go to the temple. So one day Landon and I took him to the Jordan River Temple for his first time. I was a lot of fun, and so wonderful to be in the temple with my brothers.

A Little Critter Friend

I was cleaning and organizing my room the other day, when I saw something moving on my entertainment center. At first I thought it was a spider and I almost screamed, but after closer inspection, I realized it was NOT a spider, but a little inch-worm! It was like my own little Slimey from sesame street! - Except he wasn't orange.

I watched it for a while and tried to take pictures, but they all came out blurry. So I caught it in a cup and tried to take more pictures. All came out blurry except for one, and then I took a video. (I must have been bored.) I didn't name him though. He's just my little slimey. You can watch the video of him moving around in the cup. There's music in the background; I think it's from my sister Jessica's blog that I was looking at.

Another Creation

It was Nikki's birthday, so I made her one of my magnet boards. :) It's my favorite one so far. It's always fun to find colors that I think match a person and create something for them. Something that completely SCREAMS their name, and matches their personality. So far they've liked them.

School Dance

My Brother, Landon, went to his annual school dance, and I was able to snap some pictures of him and his Adorable date before they left. They are so cute!!! (Nikki, don't kill me, you are Gorgeous!!!)

This is my favorite of all the pictures. PERFECT!!!
Outside in front of the "almost" greenery...
hehe... I told them to pull a funny face.... this is what I got, so I snapped a picture.
HA! That's what you get for not cooperating.
One of the most adorable and sweet people you will ever meet on this planet!!!
